The 3D Machine + Tool Tailstock Positioning Handle Assembly [model TPHA-01] is designed to provide CNC Lathe operators with easier, quicker and safer repositioning of the Haas Manual Tailstock on their HAAS TL-Series, Toolroom CNC Lathes, especially on the later models that utilize a safety enclosure. The 3D Machine + Tool Tailstock Positioning Handle Assembly is comprised of three (3) main components: a Tailstock Positioning Handle, [model TPH-01], a Tailstock Ratcheting Wrench, [model TRW-01] and a Tailstock Stationary Handle, [model TSH-01]. All main component items are fabricated, machined and assembled from top-quality materials. The main component materials of the 3D Machine + Tool Tailstock Positioning Handle Assembly consist of the following: Tailstock Positioning Handle [TPH-01] is made from 0.25" thick AISI 304 SS plate, the tapered bushings are machined from AISI 303 SS, the fasteners are made from 18-8 SS and the O-Rings are H-D Viton fluoroelastomer. The Tailstock Ratcheting Wrench [TRW-01] is made from the highest quality chrome vanadium steel. The Tailstock Stationary Handle [TSH-01] is made from solid 6063 Aluminum and the fasteners are made from 18-8 SS. All items are designed to install onto Haas CNC TL-Series Lathe Machines without any modifications to the HAAS CNC Lathe with ONE EXCEPTION; the Tailstock Stationary Handle [TSH-01] will require drilling two (2) 0.375" Diameter holes to mount it securely into the Safety Enclosure as shown in the diagram of the Installation Instructions provided. Note 1: The 3D Machine + Tool Tailstock Ratcheting Wrench [TRW-01] is NOT INTENDED to replace the Haas H-D Boxed-End Striker Wrench [furnished with the HAAS CNC TL Series Lathe] which MUST be used for all High-Load Machining!
